Little Miss Sweet Heart and Mr. Sweet Heart Crowned
The Spirit of Valentine´s Day was spread out at Mall De las Aguilas as thirty two lovely contestants vied for the title of Little Miss Sweet Heart and Mr. Sweet Heart this past Saturday, February 2, 2009.
The event showcased mini hopefuls for the opening ceremonies surrounding the stage as Ariana Rodriguez sang the National Anthem.
Marine Sgt, Mario Reyes escorted the children on and off the stage along side co-director Xenia Velasquez (former Miss Texas Lone Star Teen Latina 06). The competition began with fashion wear for girls and casual wear for boys. After the first round of competition the crowd made up of over 200 spectators was treated to some entertainment provided by Just us Chixs Pink Tunes - Ariana Rodriguez and Jr. Dancing Divas.
The children were then judged in the formal wear and on stage chit chat portion. The event was hosted and directed by Claudia Lopez - Mall de las Aguilas pageant coordinator.
The winners were as follows: Boys ages 3-6 division Best in Fashion - Juan Negrete, Best Dressed - Gerardo Hernandez, Most Handsome - Angel Zavala, Most Photogenic - Diego Moreno. The 2009 Little Mr. Sweet Heart Angel Zavala, Prince (1st RU) - Juan Negrete and Diego Moreno - 2nd Runner Up.
The winners were as follows: Girls ages 3-6 division Best in Fashion - Ivanna Riojas, Best Dressed - Alexia Gonzales, Allison Breinstien was awarded Most Beautiful, Most Photogenic - Poleth Monserratt Euresti. The 2009 Lil Miss Sweet Heart - Aillen García, Audrey Falcon - Princess (1st RU), and Poleth Monserratt Euresti - 2nd Runner Up.
Mall de las Aguilas Marketing Manager presented chocolate roses and balloons to all contestants in appreciation for their participation. Also, Rudy from Villa Pizza presented gift certificates to all special award winners and the winners and their court. Music was provided by Dj Sammy Lopez Jr.
